Community Information

This brand new community is located on Park Avenue just south of Irvington Road.  Rio Mercado Apartments is located along major public transit and close to the Tucson Marketplace which is convenient for groceries, shopping and restaurants.

Our community is operated under the Affordable Housing Program under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code.  This program is designed to facilitate the housing needs of moderate-, middle- or low-income households.  Residency at Rio Mercado Apartments requires that applicants meet certain qualifying standards established by the government and the Managing Agent.

Community Amenities

Rio Mercado residents have use of an onsite clubhouse, playground, splash pad, and building solar.  Please note that the amenities are located at 5761 S. Park Avenue which will be under construction through early 2023.  Some units at the 5489 S. Park Avenue site have recently been occupied.
