Center of Hope Apartments is a 100-unit housing project with eighty (80) Project Based Vouchers. The project features a single building with six stories, supportive services on the ground floor and twenty (20) units per floor in the second thru sixth floor. Each floor will have Project Based Voucher units, 16 per floor. 20 units are designated for chronically homeless households. The Project Based Voucher units will serve households whose income is 50% of AMI and below. “Center of Hope Apartments” will consist of 100 one-bedroom apartments for priority populations with on-site supportive services provided by La Frontera Center, Inc. and other community partners.

 

Project Description

The “Center of Hope Apartments” Project is to be located within the “Center of Opportunity” campus being developed by the HS Lopez Family Foundation, which includes three phases, as follows:

Phase I: a 150-bed shelter by Gospel Rescue Mission.

Phase II: a medical clinic, multi-agency use office building for supportive services, a job training center, and a small park.

Phase III: “Center of Hope Apartments” a Permanent Supportive Housing Project to be developed by La Frontera Partners, Inc., and the subject of this application.
